The Anniversary Ball of the Second Saint Petersburg Gymnasium

The International Ball Association organised a special ball to commemorate the anniversary of the Second Saint Petersburg Gymnasium — the oldest gymnasium in Russia.
Our instructors prepared the students and their parents, introducing them to the culture of dance and musical recreation, as well as to contemporary ball traditions. Meanwhile, our organisational team developed a rich programme that allowed every participant to fully enjoy the festive occasion.
The ball was held in the finest traditions: featuring a live orchestra, a solemn opening ceremony, the debutants’ dance, a quadrille, as well as group flash mobs, master classes, and dancing to classical, jazz, and Latin American music.
For the IBA (International Ball Association), this marks an important step: the culture of modern balls now engages not only students, but also schoolchildren, gymnasium students, teachers, and their parents.

We are confident that this is the beginning of a great tradition of holding balls in schools, gymnasiums, and other educational institutions.
